Based on the life and career of Broadway star Fanny Brice (a role made famous by Barbra Streisand) and her tempestuous relationship with entrepreneur Nick Arnstein. After achieving successful runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory and the West End, Richard went from Associate Director to direct the UK Tour, which sold out and returned to the Manchester Palace Theatre to be filmed by Digital Theatre and Sky Arts.
